VIF Dual Language Teacher Residents
If you would like to build your knowledge of elementary and immersion techniques, improve your English language skills, and develop the skills to lead your own elementary immersion classroom, you should apply for VIF's Dual Language Teacher Residency Program. The residency program allows teachers with an interest in language immersion an opportunity to co-teach in a US elementary immersion classroom with a highly qualified lead teacher for one school year. Successful residents can then transition to their own immersion classroom if all requirements are met. Please note that some of the benefits and requirements for the Dual Language Teacher Residency Program differ from those for the International Teacher Program.
We are now accepting applications for the Dual Language Teacher Residency Program. The first step is to register online. If you meet our requirements for participation, we will invite you to complete an application. Register with us today.
