Comprehensive Support In addition to sharing their culture, VIF teachers successfully teach the required curriculum and deliver results in the classroom. In fact, VIF teachers are equally successful as U.S. teachers in promoting student achievement on End of Grade and End of Course tests, according to SAS Institute analysis of test scores in Guilford County Schools in North Carolina. VIF recruits highly qualified teachers from over 50 nations. All teachers are thoroughly assessed during the application process and are required to be fluent in English and have the experience required to be certified in the U.S. under No Child Left Behind. VIF's highly selective criteria results in only 1 out of 7 teachers who apply being accepted into the program. And, hiring an international VIF teacher costs about the same as hiring a U.S. teacher! |
