Receptionist/ Administrative (Part-Time)
Summary
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant serves as the first impression of the Visiting International Faculty Program to clients, (teachers/schools), and vendors. Manage all incoming contact (phone, mail, walk-ins) as well as the reception area.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for receiving all incoming telephone calls and announces call to appropriate person.
- Greets all clients (teachers, school district personnel) and visitors and directs to waiting area, meeting room or staff member’s office.
- Provides information and assistance to staff, clients and customers.
- Receives or sends out messenger/courier items.
- Assist vendors for photocopier, fax machines, water cooler, food/drink deliveries, postage meter, recycling, office supplies and phone system.
- Serves as administrative assistant for various departments with projects.
- Updates VIF Organizational charts and staff contact lists.

Educational and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma, some college, and/or related administration experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with senior, entry-level, off-site (domestic and international) staff, vendors, teachers, districts, visitors, etc.
- Work effectively within Company to achieve positive results; foster a healthy team atmosphere.
- Computer skills; MS Office, Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
