Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Teacher Support Partner Manager include identifying, implementing, and maintaining partner relationships for teacher services such as travel, transportation, immersion programs, and communications. This includes the development of new partners as well as monitoring and maintaining current contracts.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements strategic sourcing and vendor relationship strategies for services for our teachers
  • Establishes requirements and monitoring measures
  • Defines service levels and ensures compliance
  • Pursues new vendor/partner relationships, including obtaining and evaluating bids as needed to provide excellent support and services to our teachers
  • Manages the relationship cycle with any current partners, including periodic review of new proposals and/or re-negotiating agreements in order to continually seek optimal value in service
  • Manages projects from inception to completion while focusing on customer satisfaction, improving efficiency and reducing costs
  • Works closely with the Teacher Support Advisor team to provide information to teachers regarding these services

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A working knowledge for defining business requirements
  • Ability to perform independently and within team structures

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar field
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Experience in managing partner/vendor relationships
  • Experience in managing projects to achieve objectives
