2008-2009 Application Deadlines

VIF is currently processing applications for positions that will begin in August 2008.  Submit your application to secure an interview with VIF and be considered for the current school year.

If the 2008 application deadline for your location has passed and you are available for a position starting in August or September of this year, please contact us to discuss your candidacy.

2009-10 applications may be submitted at any time from all locations for positions beginning in August of 2009.  Submit your application.

Why does VIF have application deadlines?
VIF provides early and final application deadlines to ensure you are available to interview with U.S. schools when teaching positions become available. U.S. schools hire teachers throughout the year and these deadlines ensure VIF candidates have time to complete all application requirements and interview with VIF and U.S. schools.

Why is there an early application deadline?
Teachers who submit their application by the early application deadline could complete the screening process and be interviewed by U.S. schools as early as December. U.S. schools start selecting teachers in January each year. Applying by the early application deadline provides the best opportunity to find a teaching position in the U.S.
