Every year, VIF recognizes the best international educators through the International Educator of the Year Awards.

We’re looking for VIF teachers who inspire students to achieve, who encourage and embrace diverse perspectives and who foster critical thinking and discussion about global issues.

Five winners nationally will win:

• $300 personal cash prize
• Educational materials for his or her school

ELIGIBILITY: All VIF teachers serving in a U.S.school for the remainder of the 2009-10 school year are eligible to apply for this recognition.
