The Global Connections students at Gray's Creek Middle School in Cumberland County reached a huge milestone last month when they presented cultural research projects as an end-of-semester culminating activity. Students used tri-fold boards to display information about the economy, culture, education, geography, government, and food of a country of their choosing. The projects were presented to their classmates and teachers. One of the primary requirements of the assignment was for students to include all 15 connections into the project to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts that were covered during the semester. The projects will go on display this April at the annual International Fair.
The principal at Gray's Creek Middle School is Sarah Whitaker and the Global Connections teachers are Kimberly Oligario, Andalle Mandjiny, Scott Witherow, Keith Pitchford, Tanya Freeman, and Jonathan West. Congratulations to all the Global Connections administrators, teachers, and students on a great semester at Gray's Creek!
